Cameron had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Valley Lumberjacks as they made off with a 12-2 win. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Cameron let Kason Angel and Zayde Long run wild. Angel went a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double, while Long went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Cameron is 6-1 when Long posts two or more stolen bases, but 5-6 otherwise. Camden McCaulley also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Cameron was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .409. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .312 or higher in five consecutive matches.

Cameron's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-7. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-11.

Looking ahead, Cameron will venture away from home to face off against Trinity Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Valley, they will take on River at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Lumberjacks will need to watch out since the Pilots have now posted at least ten runs in their last three contests.
