The Arcanum Trojans entered their tilt with the National Trail Blazers with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Arcanum came out on top in a nail-biter against National Trail on Friday and snuck past 56-54. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win Arcanum has posted yet this season.
Arcanum was led to victory by Brady Lock and Regan Christ. Lock scored 15 points, while Christ scored 19 points along with nine rebounds and two steals. Lock continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Braylen Etherington, who scored four points.
Arcanum now has a winning record of 7-6. As for National Trail, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Arcanum won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against New Bremen at 7:30 p.m. on January 13th. As for National Trail, they will head out on the road to face off against Tri-Village at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
