The Tecumseh Arrows were the 70-59 winner over the Urbana Hillclimbers when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Tecumseh took a serious blow against Urbana on Saturday, falling 66-38. Tecumseh has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
It was another big night for Peyton Mounce, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and 17 rebounds for Urbana. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Mounce has scored at least 25% of Urbana's points. Another player making a difference was Lyza Forson, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Tecumseh's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Urbana, their win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tecumseh will face off against Shawnee at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Shawnee is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak. As for Urbana, they will head out on the road to face off against Kenton Ridge at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Kenton Ridge will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 709th, while Urbana is ranked 178th).
