The Desert View Jaguars's game on Wednesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They secured a 31-26 W over Sierra Linda.
Desert View's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Addison Brown, who scored 14 points. Those 14 points set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexsandra Arce, who scored nine points.
Desert View's win bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Sierra Linda, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.
Desert View's road trip will continue as they head out to face Estrella Foothills at 6:00 p.m. on December 14th. Estrella Foothills is coming into the game hot, having won their last seven games. As for Sierra Linda, they will face off against Sahuaro at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sahuaro knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past seven games -- so hopefully Sierra Linda likes a good challenge.
