Colbert Heights was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .379. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Colbert County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Colbert Heights, their victory bumped their record up to 6-14.
Thursday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Colbert County has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .440. However, it's not like Colbert Heights struggles in that department as they've averaged .442. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
