Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Flora

Flora posted their biggest win since February 19th on Friday. They put the hurt on the Eldorado Eagles with a sharp 48-26 victory. The score was close at the half, but the Wolves pulled away in the second half with 34 points.

Eldorado's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Maddex Rash, who went 5 for 8 on his way to 10 points. Jordan Jones was another key player, putting up six points and eight rebounds.

The win (which was Flora's third in a row) raised their record to 3-6. As for Eldorado, their loss was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-6.

Flora wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 49-42 victory against Cumberland on the 26th. As for Eldorado, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 60-55 defeat against Hamilton County on the 21st.
