On Friday, Peachtree Academy took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 53-17 victory over Academe of the Oaks.
Peachtree Academy can attribute much of their success to Noah Rodriguez, who scored 15 points along with 6 rebounds. The matchup was Rodriguez's sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tom Mitchell, who scored 10 points.
Peachtree Academy's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Academe of the Oaks, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Peachtree Academy will head out on the road to face off against Skipstone Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Academe of the Oaks, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against HALO at 7:00 p.m. HALO is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
