The Daniel Lions can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Seneca 63-29 on the road. Winning may never get old, but Daniel sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Daniel found their leader in underclassman Siena Mcintyre, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Colleen DiMaio, who scored 11 points.
Seneca's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Karmandee Hall, who scored 11 points along with two steals, and Makenzie Sluder who scored six points.
Daniel has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season. As for Seneca, their loss dropped their record down to 8-14.
Daniel will be playing in front of their home fans against Pendleton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Pendleton will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps South Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 208th, while Daniel is ranked 62nd). As for Seneca, they will head out on the road to face off against Walhalla at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Seneca focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 on Tuesday.
