On Friday, Santiago are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Eastlake at 4:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
Santiago's and Rancho Verde's contest last Thursday was up for grabs at halftime, but Santiago was thoroughly outmatched in the second half. Santiago were completely outmatched, falling 7-43 to Rancho Verde.
Meanwhile, everything went Eastlake's way against Hilltop last week as they made off with a 34-6 win. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 20-0.
Eastlake's victory lifted them to 1-1 while Santiago's loss dropped them down to 0-2. We'll find out if Eastlake can add another positive mark to their record or if Santiago can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Eastlake's step.
