It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Union Parish Farmers had no problem doing just that on Friday. They blew past Port Allen 35-6 on the road. Considering Union Parish has won five matchups by more than 21 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Union Parish to victory, but perhaps none more so than Chase Meeking, who picked up 145 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Jordan Hill was another key contributor, throwing for 168 yards and three touchdowns while completing 81.8% of his passes.
Union Parish is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Port Allen, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5-1.
Union Parish will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Bogalusa at 7:00 p.m. on November 24th. Bogalusa is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games. Port Allen does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
