Shenandoah was dealt a 52-10 loss at the hands of Eastern Hancock. Shenandoah was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 26-2.
Several Raiders players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Haley Hughes, who scored 1 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals. Hughes has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played.
Eastern Hancock got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Makenzie O'Neal out in front who scored 12 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals. Ellie Meyer was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals.
Shenandoah's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Eastern Hancock, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shenandoah will take on Frankton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Eastern Hancock, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wapahani at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Wapahani is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
