Andrews Academy had already won 11 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25 points), and they went ahead and made it 12 on Saturday. They took down Collegedale Academy 46-32. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Andrews Academy also won the last time the pair played two weeks ago.
Andrews Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Audrey Simpson out in front who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 14 rebounds. Simpson hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for six straight games. Another player making a difference was Havvah Schnepp, who scored 19 points along with five rebounds.
Andrews Academy's win bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Collegedale Academy, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-14.
Andrews Academy on the road again on Tuesday and play against Victory Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on January 30th. Victory Christian Academy will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. Collegedale Academy will take on Notre Dame at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
