There's no place like home for Cornwall Central, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Valley Central Vikings with a sharp 12-2 win on Wednesday. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Dragons' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Cornwall Central picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 2-4. As for Valley Central, they moved to 4-4 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
