Great Hearts Anthem's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 16-0 margin over Maryvale Prep. The Eagles have beaten the Matador the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Matador has come to flipping the script.
Nathan Stilwell made a splash while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over five innings pitched.
