The Kokomo Wildkats won the last time they faced the Carmel Greyhounds, and things went their way on Saturday too. Kokomo came out on top against Carmel by a score of 59-51. Given Kokomo's advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 27th, while Carmel is ranked 146th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Flory Bidunga, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 13 rebounds. Bidunga is absolutely dominating the block category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Karson Rogers, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds.
Kokomo pushed their record up to 6-2 with that victory, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Carmel, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.
Kokomo will be home for the holidays to greet New Haven at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. New Haven is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak. As for Carmel, they will head out on the road to face off against Cathedral at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Cathedral will be coming into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.
