Norton Science & Language Academy extended their losing streak  to nine  on Wednesday, dropping their season record down to 0-9 in the process. They came up short against  the Bethel Christian Kings, falling  24-3. That's two games in a row now that the Rockets have lost by  exactly 21  runs.
As for Bethel Christian, the  win was  the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-6. The result was nothing new for the Kings, who have now won nine matchups by ten  runs or more  so far this season.
For Bethel Christian's part,  Katie Clark made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  struck out 12 batters over  five innings while giving up just one earned  (and two unearned) runs off   two  hits. Those  12  strikeouts gave  Clark a new career-high. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with one  home run and two  RBI.
 In other batting news, Bethel Christian got a  massive  performance out of  Hailey Havlicheck, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with four  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  RBI. That's the most  hits  Havlicheck has posted since back in March of 2024.  Monroe Kamio was another key player,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with three  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  RBI.
 Norton Science & Language Academy has  already played their next  game (against Cornerstone Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Bethel Christian will be paying especially close attention to the Rockets'  contest: after the Rockets face off against the Crusaders, they'll take on Bethel Christian again  at 3:30  p.m.  on Monday.
