Pensacola Catholic (Pensacola, Fla.) moves into the No. 1 spot in the South regional rankings and is the only new No. 1 team in this week's MaxPreps Regional Computer Baseball Rankings.
The Crusaders take over the top spot from Mosley (Lynn Haven), which lost in district play last week and dropped out of the top 10.
Caravel (Bear, Del.) and Floyd Central (Floyds Knob, Ind.) are the highest debuting teams as they both entered the regional rankings this week at No. 2. Caravel is behind St. John's Prep (Danvers, Mass.) in the Northeast region while Floyd Central is No. 2 behind Mason (Ohio) in the Midwest region.
The regional rankings are based on the MaxPreps Freeman Rankings.
