Keene Central had to hit the road for their first game and  it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were dealt  a  45-0 loss at the hands of the Northeastern Clinton Cougars on Monday. If the Beavers were looking for revenge after losing  39-6 to the Cougars when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
 Northeastern Clinton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Krista Sebert led the charge by throwing for 123 yards and a pair of  touchdowns, while also rushing for 57 yards on only five carries.  Brienne Rabideau was in the mix  as well, providing the Cougars with two scores.
Northeastern Clinton now  has a winning record of 3-2-1.
 We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Keene Central is set to  square off against  their familiar foe Schroon Lake  at 4:30  p.m.  on  the 29th. The  match will  give the Beavers their first taste of in-conference action this season. Meanwhile, Northeastern Clinton will  take on  rival Plattsburgh  at 7:30  p.m.  on Wednesday.
