Cambridge/Salem's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Stephen Yakubec, who threw for 89 yards and four touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes. Baxter Mattosn was in the mix too, providing Cambridge/Salem with two touchdowns.
Green Tech's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 1-4-1. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 9-0 Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk and 5-2 Lansingburgh (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 69.2% over those games).
