Northeast came out on top against Kenwood on Thursday thanks in part to Cameron Skaggs's efforts. Nobody could stop Skaggs as he got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. He is becoming a predictor of Northeast's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 6-15 when he doesn't).

Coming up, Skaggs and Northeast will look to defend their home field on Monday against Springfield at 6:30 p.m. The Eagles are 9-1 against the Yellow Jackets going back to April of 2019, a lead they'll look to extend.
