McCool Junction stacked an 11th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They claimed a resounding 62-23 win over Bruning-Davenport/Shickley on the road. With McCool Junction ahead 39-19 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
McCool Junction's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was McKenna Yates, who scored 11 points along with six assists and five rebounds. Yates hasn't dropped below two steals for six straight games. Another player making a difference was Claire Brugger, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and five steals.
Meanwhile, Exeter-Milligan/Friend was the victim of a tough 60-37 defeat at the hands of the Titans on Friday. Exeter-Milligan/Friend has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
McCool Junction pushed their record up to 15-3 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.3 points per game. As for Exeter-Milligan/Friend, their loss dropped their record down to 10-10.
