The Highlands Bluebirds will head out to take on the Harrison Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
If Highlands beats Harrison with ten runs on Tuesday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two matchups with that exact score. The Bluebirds didn't even let Campbell County on the board on Monday, marking the Bluebirds' second-straight 10-0 shutout. The victory was nothing new for the Bluebirds as they're now sitting on six straight.

Payton Brown was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, seven RBI, and two runs. Those seven RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Layla Zepf, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.
Highlands was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .433. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .364 or higher in five consecutive games.
Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Harrison faced off against Cooper on Monday. The Wildcats never let the Jaguars get on the board and left with a 12-0 win.
Khloe Legner was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs. She has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last seven times she's played. CC Bischoff was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Tuesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Highlands hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .383. However, it's not like Harrison struggles in that department as they've averaged .410. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went Highlands' way against Harrison when the teams last played back in May of 2025, as Highlands made off with an 8-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bluebirds since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
