Etiwanda extended their winning streak to three on Wednesday, bumping their season record up to 22-3 in the process. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Los Osos Grizzlies a 10-0 shutout. Kimberlee Aleman made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Etiwanda always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .519. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Los Osos only posted an OBP of .222.
As for Los Osos, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-11-1 record this season. While getting shut out isn't ideal, they haven't been shut out since back in February.
On Los Osos' side, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Renata Arroyo, who went 1-for-2 with one double.
