The Fremont Silverwolves pushed their score all the way to 61 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 72-61 to Weber. Fremont was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Weber apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.
When it comes to explaining why Fremont lost, one person who can't be blamed is Hunter Hansen. Despite the final result, he scored 25 points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Easton Duft, who scored 15 points along with six assists.
Fremont has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-10 record this season. As for Weber, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-6.
Fremont will head out on the road to take on Syracuse at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fremont is facing Syracuse at the right time seeing as Syracuse is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Weber, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Layton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Layton's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
