The Oshkosh West Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the Hamilton Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Oshkosh West will bounce into Saturday's contest after beating West Bend West, who they had gone 1-6 against in their seven prior meetings. The Wildcats came out on top against the Spartans by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
While Oshkosh West might've won, it sure wasn't easy: West Bend West scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-18, 24-26, 25-20.

Among those leading the charge was Olivia Xiong, who had 16 digs and six assists. Those six assists gave her a new career-high.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Hamilton, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. Everything went their way against Sheboygan North on Thursday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Chargers not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 30th (when they won 3-0).
Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Hamilton took every set by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-8, 25-12.
Hamilton's record is now 33-8. As for Oshkosh West, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 20 of their last 23 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-7 record this season.
Oshkosh West came up short against Hamilton in their previous matchup back in September of 2021, falling 2-0. Can the Wildcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
