The Novato Hornets's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their sixth straight loss. They fell 72-61 to San Marin. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Novato in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now lost four in a row.
Loss or not, Novato got some senior leadership from Joshua Devore and Travis Flick. Devore scored 17 points along with eight rebounds, while Flick. scored 22 points along with seven rebounds and six assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Dominic Scafani, who scored six points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Novato has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-16 record this season. As for San Marin, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-12.
Novato does not have any more games scheduled as of now. San Marin also has no future games currently scheduled.
