A Season-Best Effort from Dean Paris Leads Johnston over Pilgrim
Sadly, Dean Paris posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Johnston over Pilgrim on Friday. Paris rushed for 176 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.0 yards per carry, and also picked up 57 receiving yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.

Big Game from Duke As Classical Won 45-24
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Saturday Jordan Duke stepped things up a notch to give Classical the 'W'. Duke was unstoppable, rushing for 148 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.2 yards per carry, and also picking up 96 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Classical's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Duke and Classical will take on Johnston at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Another Game with at Least 105 Rushing Yards from Jerry Pimental
Mt. Hope was led to victory by Jerry Pimental, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Pimental's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 105 rushing yards.
Mt. Hope's victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-2. Pimental and Mt. Hope will challenge North Providence at 7:05 p.m. on Friday.

Parker Howley Makes It Two for Classical
The second Classical player making an appearance here is Parker Howley, and for good reason. He threw for 289 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.6 yards per attempt.
For the season, Howley has thrown 22 touchdowns while averaging 251.1 passing yards per game.
