Dallas Jesuit took a 49-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of Highland Park. It was the first time this season that Dallas Jesuit let down their fans at home.
Dallas Jesuit lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Caleb Steger, who scored 13 points. Another player making a difference was Hank Gramlich, who scored eight points.
Dallas Jesuit's loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 16-5. As for Highland Park, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 18-7.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dallas Jesuit will take on Richardson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Texas (Richardson is ranked 59th, while Dallas Jesuit is ranked 78th). As for Highland Park, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pearce at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Pearce and Highland Park are at an even 3-3 over their past six head-to-heads.
