Corcoran's tournament run continued when they took on Tulare Union  on Thursday. The Panthers took  a  2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tribe. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.
Meanwhile, Tulare Western can  bid farewell to their three-match losing streak thanks to their match  on Thursday. They came out on top against Farmersville by a score of  2-0.
 Tulare Western easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11,  25-17.
 Corcoran's defeat dropped their record down to 9-15-3. As for Tulare Western, their win bumped their record up to 10-13.
