The Cosumnes Oaks Wolfpack and the Folsom Bulldogs squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but sadly the Cosumnes Oaks Wolfpack had to settle for second. Cosumnes Oaks took a serious blow against Folsom, falling 49-7. Cosumnes Oaks was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-0.
Joshua Garcia threw for 56 yards on six of ten attempts. Myles Mcfarland was his top target, picking up 33 receiving yards.
Folsom was led to victory by Ryder Lyons and Jameson Powell. Lyons threw for 189 yards and four touchdowns, while Powell picked up 114 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Chris Warren made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
Cosumnes Oaks' loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Folsom, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-2.
Cosumnes Oaks does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Folsom will face off against Inderkum at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Inderkum is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
