Bluff Dale is 0-6 against Huckabay since December of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Bluff Dale Bobcats will head out on the road to face off against the Huckabay Indians at 6:00 p.m. Hopefully Bluff Dale focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 24 on Friday.
Last Friday, Bluff Dale ended up a good deal behind Lingleville and lost 35-18. Bluff Dale has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, Bluff Dale had strong showings from Allie Morris, who scored ten points along with six steals, and Nicole Morris, who scored eight points. Morris scored a full 55.6% of Bluff Dale's points, the 12th time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Huckabay has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matches by 21 points or more this season. They blew past Strawn, posting a 63-34 win on the road. Huckabay's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Bluff Dale's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Huckabay, they pushed their record up to 13-4 with that win, which was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season.
Bluff Dale took a serious blow against Huckabay in their previous matchup back in January, falling 90-12. Can Bluff Dale avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
