Softball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Swan Valley

Swan Valley entered their tilt with Durand on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They never let the Railroaders get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory.

Mia Robinson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 12 over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with two runs and one RBI.

In other batting news, Swan Valley got a massive performance out of Chloe Bryce, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI. Shiloh Charboneau was another key player, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Swan Valley kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits every time they've taken the field this season.

Swan Valley's record is now 3-4. As for Durand, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.

Swan Valley will head out to face off against Hemlock at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Huskies will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Vikings surely won't give up without a fight. As for Durand, they will host Ovid-Elsie at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
