Football Recap: Peaster Skates Past Bowie with Ease

Peaster barely beat Bowie the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Greyhounds simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Jackrabbits 27-0. The Greyhounds' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Peaster found their leader in sophomore Rhett Kelley, who picked up a sack and made nine total tackles.

Peaster's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB five times. Hagen Hadley was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two sacks himself.

Peaster's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Bowie, they moved to 3-2 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coming up, Peaster will challenge Iowa Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Greyhounds will be up against the Hawks' rather soft defense (which has allowed 28.5 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Bowie, they will square off against Paradise at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
