Western Michigan Christian has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will take on the Martin Clippers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Martin took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Western Michigan Christian, who comes in off a win.
Even though Western Michigan Christian has not done well against Potter's House Christian recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Western Michigan Christian came out on top against Potter's House Christian by a score of 47-38.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Martin, who are still winless after their tenth match. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 58-38 walloping at the hands of Kellogg on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Martin has suffered since December 1, 2023.
Western Michigan Christian's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Martin, they bumped their record down to 0-10 with that loss, which was their 15th straight on the road.
Western Michigan Christian didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Martin in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, but they still walked away with a 55-51 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Western Michigan Christian since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
