King's Academy were successful in their last outing against Concord Christian, and they didn't afford Concord Christian any payback this time around. King's Academy were gifted an easy victory on Friday as Concord Christian wound up forfeiting 0-2. The victory was a breath of fresh air for King's Academy as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.
The win bumped King's Academy's record up to 1-5. Concord Christian are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-3.
King's Academy will be staying on the road next week, facing off against Grace Baptist Academy. Grace Baptist Academy are cruising in on a three-game winning streak. Concord Christian will have some time to rest before their next match, which is against Ezell-Harding Christian in three weeks at 7:00 PM. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
