The Muckleshoot Tribal Kings came tearing into Thursday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They enjoyed a cozy 67-53 win over Northwest Yeshiva. That's another feather in the cap for Muckleshoot Tribal, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Despite the loss, Northwest Yeshiva saw an underclassman step up: Sam Weichbrodt scored 22 points. Another player making a difference was Sam Chernicoff, who scored ten points.
Muckleshoot Tribal's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-4. As for Northwest Yeshiva, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.
Muckleshoot Tribal on the road again on Tuesday and play against Northwest Christian at 7:00 p.m. on January 30th. As for Northwest Yeshiva, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Summit Classical Christian School at 8:45 p.m. Summit Classical Christian School knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matchups -- so hopefully Northwest Yeshiva likes a good challenge.
