Meanwhile, Newman Smith's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their seventh straight defeat. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 12-0 walloping at the hands of Lone Star. Newman Smith has struggled against Lone Star recently, as their game on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Creekview has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-7-1 record this season. As for Newman Smith, they dropped their record down to 2-10 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
