Meanwhile, Newman Smith's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their seventh straight defeat. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 12-0 walloping at the hands of Lone Star. Newman Smith has struggled against Lone Star recently, as their game on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Creekview has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-7-1 record this season. As for Newman Smith, they dropped their record down to 2-10 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
Everything went Creekview's way against Newman Smith in their previous matchup back in March of 2023 as Creekview made off with a 8-0 win. Will Creekview repeat their success, or does Newman Smith have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
