Minooka was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Sandburg had just enough and edged Yorkville out 2-1 on Wednesday.
Sandburg had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 14-25, 27-25, 25-15.
