Baseball Game Preview: Plainview Indians vs. Marlow Outlaws

Plainview hasn't had much luck against Marlow recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Indians will be playing at home against the Outlaws at 5:00 p.m. Marlow took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Plainview, who comes in off a win.

Plainview took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Douglass a 12-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won seven games by seven runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Shepard Sisemore, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. He has become a key player for Plainview: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 7-11 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Dane Dickerson, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
