Considering the Eagles have won ten games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Ella Stein was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Maddie Varner was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
Milford hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post two or more strikeouts.
Milford's win bumped their record up to 13-9. As for Loveland, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-12.
Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. Loveland has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.4 hits per game. However, it's not like Milford struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 5.5 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
