Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for The Carver Vo-Tech Bears, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They took a 20-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of Western Tech & Environmental Science. Carver Vo-Tech has been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.
Although Carver Vo-Tech took the loss, they still got scores from Dominick Cunningham and Mehkai Tindal.
Carver Vo-Tech has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-4 record this season. As for Western Tech & Environmental Science, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-4.
Carver Vo-Tech does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Western Tech & Environmental Science will head out on the road to face off against Dunbar at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Dunbar will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
