Winning always takes teamwork, but on Thursday Jeremiah Battle stepped things up a notch to give Southern Nash the 'W'. Battle was unstoppable, tossing six innings while giving up just one earned run off seven hits. He is becoming a predictor of Southern Nash's success: when he allows at most one earned run the team is undefeated (and 8-9 when he doesn't).
