There's no place like home for Chandler, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They put the hurt on the Perry Maroons with a sharp 9-3 victory on Saturday. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 contests by six runs or more this season.

Chandler's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-8. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Perry, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-14.

Chandler wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, an 8-3 win against Lexington on the 3rd. Hopefully Perry paid attention to the Lions' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Lions on Sunday.
