Delhi will challenge Sicily Island on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Delhi are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the contest prepared for a fight.
Last Friday, Delhi put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They took their game against Delta Charter by a conclusive 36-10 score. Senior Brandon Williams was the offensive standout of the match for Delhi, as he picked up 52 yards on the ground and threw 2 TDs. If you haven't heard Williams's name lately, then you haven't been paying much attention: he has loomed large in their past six games.
Meanwhile, after flying high against Delta Charter two weeks ago, Sicily Island came back down to earth. Sicily Island came up short against St. Frederick, falling 28-35.
Everything went Delhi's way against Sicily Island the last time the two teams met as they made off with a 44-14 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Delhi since the team won't have home-field advantage. Watch the game and check back on MaxPreps to see if the change in venue makes a difference.
