After flying high against Loretto last Friday, Clint came back down to earth. The Clint Lions took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jefferson Silver Foxes on Tuesday. The loss was the Lions' first of the season.
Brenda Aguilar and Theresa Carrillo scored both of Clint's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.
Having lost for the first time this season, Clint fell to 3-1. As for Jefferson, they pushed their record up to 5-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.
Clint will square off against Harmony Science Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 14th. As for Jefferson, their road trip will continue as they head out to face Del Valle at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. Jefferson is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.2 goals per game this season.
