The Mt. Rainier Rams scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They really took it to Fife for the full four quarters, racking up a 81-45 win at home. The result was nothing new for Mt. Rainier, who have now won three games by 25 points or more so far this season.
Zach Luz continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 39 points along with eight assists and seven steals. That makes it nine consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Mt. Rainier's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaac Kwao, who scored 12 points.
Mt. Rainier now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Fife, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mt. Rainier will take on Federal Way at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Federal Way has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 578 points over their last eight contests. As for Fife, they will be playing in front of their home fans against White River at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. White River will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.
