Citrus is a perfect 10-0 against Central since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Hurricanes will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bears at 7:00 p.m. Citrus is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.7 runs per game this season.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last five times Citrus and Belleview have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Wednesday. The Hurricanes came out on top in a nail-biter against the Rattlers, sneaking past 8-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Hurricanes have posted since February 25th.

Paisley Williamson made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and four unearned) runs off eight hits (and only one walk). Williamson was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-4. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played.

In other batting news, Baylie Goodwin was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Briahna Greaux, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against Lecanto, falling 11-1.

Central saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Yianna Casiano, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Central's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Citrus, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Everything went Citrus' way against Central in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Citrus made off with a 12-2 win. Do the Hurricanes have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bears turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
