Tahoma's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Tahoma's win on Thursday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Bailey Nettleton, who scored 15 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Adalynn Busch, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds.
Tahoma's win was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.8 points per game. As for Federal Way, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tahoma will face off against Decatur at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Decatur will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings (they are ranked 126th, while Tahoma is ranked 11th). Federal Way on the road again on Saturday and play against Mt. Rainier at 7:00 p.m. on January 27th. Mt. Rainier is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.
