The Discovery Spartans put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Bayshore Christian 84-28 on the road. That looming 84-28 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Discovery yet this season.
It was another big night for Lucson Jean, who scored 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Trevin West, who scored 14 points.
When it comes to explaining why Bayshore Christian lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jace Jreisat. Despite the final result, he scored 15 points. The game was Jreisat's tenth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Tylan Lewis, who scored five points.
Discovery's victory bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Bayshore Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.
Discovery will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Tocoi Creek at 4:30 p.m. on December 21st. Bayshore Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Plant City at 10:30 a.m. on December 27th. Plant City will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line.
