Meanwhile, Boiling Springs didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Middletown on Tuesday, but they still walked away with a 52-46 win. Despite the victory, that was the fewest points Boiling Springs has scored all year.
Boiling Springs' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Joe Wonders, who scored 13 points. Those 13 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Brandon Ascione, who scored 12 points.
James Buchanan's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Boiling Springs, they pushed their record up to 6-0 with that win, which was their third straight at home.
